Boosey & Hawkes Imperial 926 B Flat Clarinet
This is an excellent condition Imperial 926 Bb Clarinet which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Imperial 926 was manufactured as a professional quality instrument on a par with the Imperial Symphony 1010, but with a bore of 15.0mm, as opposed to the 15.25mm of the 1010.
This Bb, with matching serial nos. 523272, is a late production example dating to 1981. It has wood with no cracks or repairs and still bright logo stamps. The silver plate shows no wear, it is in fine order throughout. The fish skin pads are a mixture of newer with some used, but all sealing well. The supplied m'pieces are a Peter Eaton 926, stamped 50:37, which is open and long, with S/N 643 of 926 bore, and another unmarked m'piece. The original case has some slight interior stains wear and slight wear to the exterior, it in very good condition.
