Buffet, Prestige Bass Clarinet to low E Flat
A very good condition Buffet Prestige Bass clarinet to low Eb. This Bass has a fully automatic double overblowing mechanism, in common with the best professional models, for improved response and tuning. The white leather pads are in very good used condition, as is the silver plated key work which is pristine throughout. The wood is also excellent throughout with NO damage, scuffs or repairs of any sort. There is no damage to the crook, apart from some slight flattening to the top see photo 5. The bell likewise shows only a couple of very minor dings and scratches, see photos 10 & 11. The matching serial numbers are 27960. The previous owner has added some green labels to aid with correctly aligned assembly. The Bass has been through our workshop for a thorough check down and regulation prior to sale. The "Prestige" logo badge is missing, but we have one on order from Buffet, and this will be supplied to the new owner. The m'piece is a Vandoren B44 in used condition. A Neotech harness is also provided, which allows the Bass to be played easily without the floor peg. The original case does show some slight signs of use, but it latches very well, and protects the Bass securely. This Bass will play perfectly out of the box and represents excellent value for money with a new example now costing £8930.
