Wurlitzer, Alto Clarinet
This is a Wurlitzer, Alto clarinet to low Eb, made in Elkhart Indiana. This is essentially a re-badged Leblanc Vito, of identical design and key work. There are no cracks or damage to the resonite body, which is in fine order. The crook is in good condition with no dings or dents. The bell does have the usual scratches to the plating, due to assembly, and catching the the keywork for the low E/B. A BG sling is provided. The Nickel Silver plating is in overall good condition, & shows only slight spot wear to a couple of the ring finger covered holes The Alto has just been overhauled in premium white leather pads, with the larger pads having reflectors, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The serial nos. are 2942. The supplied case shows wear, but is fully functional. The m'piece is an ebonite Selmer Bundy No. 3 in good used condition, which works well with lighter reeds. This is a fine example of the proven Leblanc design, and with a comparable new Vito resonite Alto retailing new in the UK now for £3400, is excellent value.
