Buffet, B12, B Flat Clarinet
The Buffet B12 is the top selling student instrument worldwide and was in production for over 40 years. This example is a commission sale and is in very good used condition. We have checked the instrument over in our workshop, and all the pads, whilst used, are in good condition. The silver plated keywork shows no wear. The only blemish is a small chip to the bottom of the m'piece slot, see photo 3. Nevertheless as this m'piece is an up-grade to professional model Vandoren B45 it still plays well, substantially better than the supplied Buffet stock m'piece. This clarinet has matching serial numbers 548349 and was made under license in Germany for Buffet. Sadly now production is in China. These, German made, B12s are of considerably better quality than modern student Buffet clarinets. The instrument comes with the original case and BG ligature, both of which are in fine condition.
