Leblanc, LX, B Flat Clarinet
This is a good condition Leblanc LX Bb Clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The instrument has used fish skin pads, which are in overall fine condition, with the register key in cork. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; which is unstained and superb throughout. The instrument has been down to our workshop for tenon and touch cork replacement, and regulation. The Silver plated key work is in good condition, with only slight surface pitting to some of the keys. This clarinet features a polycylindrical bore design of 14.60mm and responds and tunes excellently, it was offered as an excellent alternative to the Buffet R13, or Selmer 10S. The model was Leblanc's flagship design of the 1980s & was so successful that it continued in production right up until 2009 when the French factory was sold to Buffet Crampon. The matching serial nos. are 59099. The clarinet comes with all the original stamped pieces. The supplied single case is of compact pouchette type and is in good condition.
