Matched Pair of Buffet R13 Clarinets
An extremely fine pair of Buffet R13 clarinets in Silver plate, which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. These instruments were bought from us by an amateur player some 11 years ago, and have been extremely well cared for and maintained. The condition is almost perfect. The Buffet R13 design dates from the 1950's, and the model has gone through constant revision and alteration through the decades that it has been in manufacture, it remains one of the most popular choices for a professional model worldwide
This Bb, S/N 539726 , is in pristine condition, with no damage or repairs to the Grenadilla wood. All pieces are matching and original and stamped "Buffet". The Silver plating overall is excellent with no discernible wear. The pads are used fish skin throughout, but sealing well. The A S/N 591886 is also in immaculate condition. Like the Bb the plating is pristine and the wood condition is excellent The supplied original Buffet brown leather case is in excellent condition externally, and the interior lining shows no wear. The m'piece is an upgrade to a professional Grabner, which is in fair used condition, with some ligature scratches. Some accessories are also supplied , a Vandoren reed holder and a collapsible K&M stand.
