A good condition Buffet Crampon, Evette & Schaeffer E13 Bb clarinet. This instrument is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This clarinet was hand finished and undercut, unlike modern E13's which are completely machine made. The key work is solid German Silver, not plated, in good condition. The Grenadilla wood overall is in fair condition, with only light surface scratches and minor chips to the tenons, see photos. There are no cracks or repairs.
The pads are all used fish skin, which are sealing well.The matching serial nos. are B127, it is likely that this early E13 dates to the period just after the end of WW2. The m'piece is a Mitchell Lurie M3, and the case is a more modern Buffet
