A rare, anonymous, C Melody Soprano Saxophone which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The last owner is the well known musician, Paul Harvey. Paul was for many years Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, in Twickenham. He was also the author of the "Saxophone" in Yehudi Menuhin series of music guides. This example has silver plate finish with wear throughout: Please select & hover over the photos and examine them in close up. The pads are all used tan leather, but sealing well. It comes with a Hawkes m'piece, & in a well used case. this instrument would suit a player wishing to play oboe parts at sight without transposing.
