Noblet, Plateau B Flat Clarinet
A pristine condition Noblet, by Leblanc, Paris France, Plateau B flat clarinet. This is a model 45 wooden Noblet, with a covered hole mechanism, i.e. plateau, which was made as a professional level instrument. Noblet was founded in 1750, which made them the oldest clarinet manufacturer in the world, and the company was bought by Leblanc in the early 20th Century. The key work, which is in silver plate, is perfect throughout with no wear, which is extremely rare with a used plateau clarinet. The Grenadilla wood throughout is in excellent condition, with no cracks, repairs or scuffs. The clarinet has just had a complete overhaul in fish skin pads throughout, with the register key in cork. It is sold with our full 1 year warranty.
The matching serial numbers are A53327. This clarinet continued to be manufactured by Leblanc right up until they ceased manufacture in 2009. It was described by them as "specifically designed for the younger player, doubler or even the arthritic player who may have difficulty covering the standard open-tone-hole". The case is in good used condition, as is the m'piece, a Vandoren B45 Lyre
