Selmer, Bundy, Alto Clarinet
This is a good condition Selmer Bundy Alto Clarinet in Resonite to low Eb. There are no cracks or damage to the body, which is in fine order. The crook is in fine condition with no dings or dents. The bell does have the usual scratches to the plating, due to assembly, and catching the the keywork for the low E/B. also there is some flattening to the base of the bell, where the Alto has been rested on the floor or case rather than being played with a sling. The correct double hook sling is provided. The Nickel Silver plating is in overall good condition, but shows the usual spot wear to the ring finger covered holes The Alto has tan leather pads which, though used, are in excellent condition as this instrument has been overhauled quite recently. The serial nos. are 16699. The original case shows interior and exterior wear, but is fully functional. The original Bundy No. 3 m'piece is in excellent used condition. This is a fine example of the proven Selmer design, and with a comparable new Vito resonite Alto retailing new in the UK now for £3400 is excellent value
