Buffet, R13 B Flat Clarinet
A rare, custom order, enhanced Boehm system Bb clarinet from Buffet Crampon. This instrument has all the "bells and whistles" normally found on a Full Boehm, excepting the low Eb key. This instrument features; fork Eb/Bb, LH Ab/Eb, & articulated C#/G#. Therefore superior to current Prestige specification. There is no damage to the wood, which is in fine condition. The Silver plate key work is excellent throughout, with no discernible wear. Indeed the fine quality of this Silver plate contrasts sharply with that found on more modern Buffet clarinets. The instrument has just had a complete overhaul in our workshop and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The matching serial nos. are F167318 which dates to 1976. This was an excellent period of Buffet manufacture, commonly referred to as Buffet's "Golden Era". The mouthpiece is a used Yamaha 7C. The case is the a Buffet Prestige example in back leather, it shows some slight stains to the interior, but is in good used condition.
