Boosey & Hawkes pre-war 1010 B Flat Clarinet
This B&H pre-war 1010 Bb is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, and it has led a long and active life! This instrument, S/N 32314, has most likely been re-plated in chrome at some point, and the key work shows significant wear throughout. The instrument is in wood which is in overall fair condition, showing surface scuffs, marks and scratches. There is an old repair to the upper part of the lower joint, were several cracks caused an ebonite collar to be made to replace the affected area. The serial numbers match on both main joints, and the bell & barrel may also be original, but the logos are worn. The pads are all used tan leather but in very good condition. The RH sliver key has also been shortened at some point by a former owner. There are 2 supplied m'pieces, an original B&H and also a modern Pillinger 1010, with a 45b lay. The supplied case is a Buffet in good condition.
