Noblet, Artist, A Clarinet
This is a Noblet Artist A Clarinet, made by Leblanc, in near mint condition, and it has been completely overhauled by Clarinets Direct: Finest Pisoni fish skin pads have been fitted throughout & the Silver plated key work polished. The instrument is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The Noblet Artist was the top of the range Noblet model, with a cylindrical bore of 14.85mm, and it was described by Leblanc as an entry level professional model. It will pair nicely with any other mainstream manufacturers French bore Bb, i.e. Buffet, Selmer, Leblanc and Yamaha. It features gold plated springs, to eliminate rust, and a separate post mounted Ab/Eb key.
This A, with matching serial nos. A53276, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is in pristine condition. This clarinet was made entirely from Grenadilla wood, apart from a resonite barrel. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in fine order. The only reason the clarinet is described as "near mint" is because all the tenon corks are not new. There is no joint wobble, and it is apparent that the clarinet has been very little played. The luxury leather double case is in excellent condition, and comes with the keys.
