Boosey & Hawkes Edgware A Clarinet
A Boosey & Hawkes Edgware A clarinet, in good condition, made in England. The Edgware A was B&H's student wooden A clarinet. This instrument is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, and was bought second hand by the current owner for her to use at Music College. The Grenadilla wood has no damage or repairs, it is in fine condition. The instrument has used fish skin pads, which are all sealing well. The Nickel Silver plating is very fine throughout, with some tarnish but no wear. It comes in an original B&H case, with dust cover, which is much used, and has been re-lined, but is fully serviceable. The matching serial nos. are 384768, which makes this a 1970's example. An additional short barrel, from a B&H Emperor A, the model above the Edgware is also included.
