Boosey & Hawkes Emperor A Clarinet
A nice condition B&H Emperor A clarinet which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This A has matching serial nos. A500680, which makes it a late example dating to the 1980s. The wood condition is excellent, and all used fish skin pads are also sealing well. The Silver plating is also in very fine condition. All pieces are matching and original apart from the bell, which is actually an up-grade from the professional model above the Emperor, the Imperial 926. This bell has some every slight scuffs and marks to the bell rim, but is in good used condition. As the bore of the Emperor and Imperial clarinets are identical it is possible to up-grade in this way. The original B&H double case is also in good used condition, with only some slight interior stains.
