Selmer Console A Clarinet
A nice condition Selmer Console, enhanced Boehm A clarinet, in Grenadilla wood. This instrument is an enhanced Boehm model with 7 rings, which usefully allows for a forked Eb/Bb in the left hand, articulated C sharp/G sharp, and left hand Ab/Eb. The Selmer Console was a student model manufactured for Selmer, Paris.The clarinet has just had a partial service, and all tan leather pads are either new, or in excellent condition. The German Silver key work is excellent throughout, with no wear. All parts are original, with matching stamps, including the m'piece. There is no damage to the wood of main pieces of the clarinet, though the tenon of the bell has tight surface crack, this does not form the bore, and has no effect on the response. The instrument comes in a used B&H double case, which though worn, is fully serviceable. This is a fine responding A clarinet at a bargain price.
