Buffet, R13, E Flat Clarinet
An excellent condition, Buffet R13 Eb Clarinet. Some modern Buffet R13 Eb clarinets are now made in two pieces as a cost saving exercise, shorter wood billets are cheaper! This is a single piece model with S/N 194473, which dates to 1979, at this period Buffet had not been the subject of a take over by Boosey & Hawkes, and this period is widely recognised as an excellent time of manufacture.
The wood shows no cracks or damage, it is pristine, as is the Silver plate. The instrument has just been completely overhauled in fish skin pads, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The m'piece is a Vandoren B44, which is a moderately open lay, and plays well with Vandoren 3.0 reeds. The case is also in excellent used condition, with no marks or interior tears.
