Boosey & Hawkes Edgware B Flat Clarinet
An excellent condition B&H Edgware Bb clarinet in ebonite with no cracks or damage. The clarinet is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This model was B&H's student clarinet, and was made in wood as well as ebonite. The Nickel Silver plating is in pristine condition, with no wear. The pads are used fish skin, but all in excellent condition. The clarinet was at one time owned by the ILEA, as this is scratched on the lower joint. Often such instruments, stored in school music stores, had joints interchanged, and this has happened here: The upper joint is stamped with S/N 468563, and the lower 468571. The supplied mouthpiece is the original B&H in good condition, which is of the correct bore for this model, and tunes it well. The original case shows some wear, there are some slight stains and looseness to the interior lining, it still latches securely.
