Buffet, Evette & Schaeffer E13 B Flat Clarinet
A very fine condition early Buffet, Evette and Schaeffer E13; these models were finished by hand unlike the modern E13, which is entirely machine made. We have just entirely re-padded in Pisoni Deluxe double bladder fish skin pads & the clarinet is sold with our full 1 year Clarinets Direct warranty. The matching serial nos. are K1881 which dates to the 1950s: A fine period of quality hand finished manufacture when the E13 was made alongside the professional R13 model. The wood is in excellent order throughout, with no cracks or damage. These days E13's are made from inferior quality wood which is stained to hide imperfections, whereas this model has unstained wood. The German Silver key work is excellent throughout, with no wear. The case in good condition, and comes with the still wrapped keys. The mouthpiece is an up-grade to a professional model ebonite used Selmer C85 115 .
