Selmer, Paris, Bass Clarinet to low E Flat
This is an excellent condition Selmer Paris Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low Eb, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The only former owner was a London based professional. The Selmer Paris Bass is considered the finest in the World due to its excellent ergonomics, and automatic double over-blowing vent for the second register. All Nickel Silver key work is in pristine condition with no wear. The bell and crook are on very good condition, with no "dings" or "dents". The crook is a sleeved and adjustable. There are no cracks or repairs to the body, which is in excellent condition throughout. This Bass has just had a complete overhaul in our workshop, with finest tan leather pads, the lower pads all have reflectors. This instrument will play perfectly out of the case. There is a floor peg to the bell. The matching serial nos. are Z2943 which dates to 1976. The original case is much used, and has some interior stains, but it is still serviceable. The m'piece is a used Selmer D.
