A Boosey & Hawkes Edgware A clarinet, in good condition, made in England. This instrument was recently taken in part exchange. The Grenadilla wood has no damage or repairs apart from the barrel which has two sealed surface cracks, they do not go through to the bore. The thumb rest has been re-positioned slightly higher in the past, and the original screw holes filled. The instrument has used fish skin pads, which are all sealing well. The Nickel Silver plating is very fine throughout, with no wear. It comes in an original B&H case, which is much used but fully serviceable. The matching serial nos. are 221428A, which makes this a 1960s example.
