Selmer Bundy Alto Clarinet
This is a good condition Selmer Bundy Alto Clarinet in Resonite to low Eb. This instrument was formerly owned by a UK based Jazz player, unlike most secondhand Bundy Alto's which have been owned by institutions. Consequently it is in better condition than many we have seen. There are no cracks or damage to the body; minor surface scratches and marks only. The crook is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches. The bell is also in good condition. There is only slight plating loss & "cloudiness" to some of the Nickel Silver ring finger touch pieces; the plating is around 95%. The Alto has a mixture of skin and leather pads, we have just replaced 8 pads in our workshop and the instrument is sealing well. The serial nos. are 11539. The instrument comes with a sling. The case is used, with some stains to the interior and wera to the exterior, but it still latches well. Unusually the Alto also comes with the original Selmer instruction booklet outlining how to use the 1st LH finger touch piece for the Altissimo register. The m'piece is a Bundy No. 3 in good condition. This is a fine example of the proven Selmer design. It plays easily and is an ideal first Alto clarinet purchase.
