Buffet, E11, E flat Clarinet
This is an excellent condition Buffet E11 Eb clarinet, in Grenadilla wood. This instrument is Buffet's semi-professional model, and this example has serial nos. 103879. The Silver plated key work is in pristine condition. The pads are mostly original, with some more recent pads, in white leather. A couple of pads are in cork to avoid water collecting in the usual holes, the speaker key and first trill key. All pads are sealing. The wood has no cracks or damage with only a couple of slight surface marks to the bell to distinguish it from a new instrument. The supplied m'piece is an up-grade to a Vandoren 5RV in excellent condition. The original, unmarked, case is in superb condition. Current French made Buffet E13's, E12's and E11F's are giving a lot of trouble with shrinkage and wood movement, this instrument was made under licence for Buffet in Germany by Schreiber, and is a much better crafted clarinet.
