Selmer, Bundy, Alto Clarinet
This is a fair condition Selmer Bundy Alto Clarinet in Resonite to low E, which has been owned most recently by Derek Hannigan of the BBC Concert Orchestra. Unfortunately due to recent changes by HMRC in how self assessed tax year ends are regulated, an extra large tax bill forces this, and other instruments to be offered for sale. There are no cracks or damage to the body. The crook is in good condition with no dings or dents. The bell does have some flattening to the base, and scratches to the plating. The Nickel Silver plating shows wear throughout. The Alto has well used tan leather pads all are sealing well, and it plays across the range with no issues. The serial nos. are partly obscured but the last 2 digits seem to be 89. The instrument also comes with double hooks for a sling, and a sling is provided. The original case is much used, but functional, the Vito N2 m'piece plays well but is stuck to the crook. We have not attempted to remove it for fear of damage to the solder on the crook.
