Selmer, Mark VI, Tenor Saxophone
A mint condition, never used, pristine Selmer Mark VI Tenor, possibly the finest example in the world today. This was bought new, while the owner was on tour in France. Apparently it was on display in a shop window in a small town in rural France. The shop owner was contacted on Sunday morning, by the tour band manager, persuaded to open the shop, and it was purchased. The owner, a leading London based professional, was an obsessive collector of Mark VI saxophones, having over a dozen examples, some like this, never played, they were bought as investments.
The condition is perfect. The still wrapped original keys, a boxed Selmer C* m'piece, and sling are included. The pads are the original, unused, as is the case. The serial number is 207758, dating to 1972.
