A superb example of a Selmer Mk VI Alto saxophone, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This Alto is an iconic example of the famous Mark VI, which many feel has not been equalled since by Selmer, it demonstrates a classic depth of sound and power, the hallmarks of this era of Mark VI. The original lacquer shows some wear commensurate with age and usage, but for an instrument dating to 1958, that has been much used, it is in very good condition. The instrument has been down to our workshop for a partial service to get it in good playing condition. The pads are all tan leather in good condition. The serial numbers are 74683. The supplied case is a BAM "softpack" in good condition..
