Leblanc, Paris, LL B Flat Clarinet
This a good condition Leblanc LL Bb clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Leblanc LL, was named after Leon Leblanc, George's son and was Leblanc's foremost professional model. The design features an exceptionally even scale and intonation, and, though introduced in the 1960s, was so successful that the model continued in manufacture right up until when the firm was sold to Buffet in 2009.
This Bb clarinet has matching serial nos. 69232, making it a late manufactured example. The Silver plate is in fair condition, with some surface pitting wear mainly to RH F#/C#, see photos. The wood is in very good condition, with no cracks or repairs. The instrument has used fish skin pads throughout, which are all sealing well. The supplied m'piece is a used Vandoren 5RV Lyre, and the original Leblanc case is in excellent condition and comes with the keys.
