Boosey & Hawkes, Imperial E Flat Clarinet
This is an good condition Boosey and Hawkes Imperial, Eb Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct This Eb has been professionally owned and played here in the UK and has been very well looked after. The Silver plated key work shows some slight wear, mainly to the RH ring key barrel and throat G# key, overall the plating is about 90%. There are no cracks or repairs to the wood, which is in very good condition. The instrument has fish skin pads throughout, which are all in very good condition, with 7 of these just replaced at a partial service. The serial nos. are 120366, which dates to the early 1950's. The mouthpiece is a Selmer C* in good condition. The case is an "as new" Reed & Squeak. Some reeds are supplied as is a collapsible stand.
