Lafleur, Paris, A Clarinet
This a very rare Lafleur pre-war professional clarinet in A stamped " Lafleur & Sons Ltd. Paris Sole Agents Boosey & Hawkes". This is therefore a French made Lafleur, which is not to be confused with later Lafleur instruments which were student clarinets made by Boosey & Hawkes, and stamped Lafleur, after the brand had been bought out by B&H. This clarinet has been through our workshop for an partial overhaul and has a mixture of tan leather and fish skin pads in good condition. The wood is in excellent condition, with no cracks or damage, and the German Silver keywork is in very good condition. This A has matching S/N 10827,. The m'piece is an original Lafleur which tunes the clarinet well. The case is a Boosey & Hawkes in good used condition.
