Matched Pair of Selmer 10S Clarinets
A matched pair of Selmer 10S clarinets in very good condition, which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This pair have had only one owner from new. The Selmer 10 Series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner: Indeed with a bore of only 14.60mm, the 10S is even smaller in the bore than the Buffet R13. These clarinets are extremely lively, easy to play, and have excellent intonation.
The Bb, S/N C0142, dates to 1983 and has silver plate in excellent condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is in fine order throughout. All pieces are original and have matching stamps. There are 2 supplied barrels, of 64.5mm and 66.5mm. The clarinet has lightly used fish skin pads throughout in very good condition. The m'piece is a used Selmer C85 120.
The A S/N C4109, is in excellent condition, having seen hardly any use. The wood and silver plating are excellent throughout, and the fish skin pads show minimal wear. A single barrel of 66.5 mm is supplied. NB Though 2 m'pieces are pictured the Selmer C85 115 is to be sold separately. The supplied original case is also in fine condition & comes with dust cover.
