A good condition, R M Malerne, Paris, Bb Clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. Malerne were a second rank French manufacturer active from 1932 to about 1950. This clarinet has just been overhauled and has excellent condition fish skin pads throughout. The nickel silver plating shows no wear, it is in fine condition. All pieces, including the m'piece, are matching and original with bright logo stamps. There are no cracks to the Grenadilla wood, which is in fine order. The case shows some interior stains and exterior wear. This clarinet plays evenly and well in tune across the entire range it is excellent value.
