Yamaha YBS62 Baritone Saxophone

This is a fair condition Yamaha YBS62 Baritone Sax, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This instrument has been professionally owned and was heavily used by Dave Willis, one of the UK's top session musicians.
This "purple logo" Bari has serial nos. 003670. These early YBS62s are considered superior to later production, both for ease of playing and intonation. The original lacquer shows much wear, as seen in the photographs. There are also minor dents, and other blemishes, the body condition is fair. The key work is in a similar condition, with some wear to the key barrels, the pearls are in good condition. This saxophone has just had a partial service in our workshop, with some leather pads being replaced, all pads are now sealing well. The case is in good used condition, and four wheels have been fitted to the bottom to help with mobility, the case keys are included. The m'piece is an excellent condition Selmer S80 F NB, not pictured .
