Pair of Boosey & Hawkes Imperial 926 Clarinets
A very good condition pair of Boosey &Hawkes Imperial 926 clarinets which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The 926 Imperial was B & H's top professional model, alongside the larger bore 1010. This pair have been professionally owned and played by an Army musician, and were regularly played at Buckingham Palace as part of ceremonial occasions.
The Bb has matching serial nos. 393441, it has pristine condition Silver plating throughout. The wood is in fine condition with no cracks or damage. Both clarinets have excellent condition used fish skin pads throughout. A good condition 926 No. 3 m'piece is also supplied. 2 additional short barrels, as supplied with B&H Emperor clarinets are also included. The A has matching serial nos. A190038. As with the Bb the wood condition is excellent. A good condition B&H 926 No.2 m'piece is supplied. The Silver plating is very fine. This pair come in the original B&H double case.
