Pair of Boosey & Hawkes Emperor Clarinets
A nice condition pair of B&H Emperors which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This pair are being sold because the current owner has recently purchased a pair of professional clarinets.
The Bb has matching serial nos. 452675, it has silver plating throughout, which is in good condition with only slight tarnish. The wood is in fine condition with no cracks or damage, apart from some very slight marks to the bell rim. The pads, whilst not new, are in very fine condition with many months of play left in them. This Bb comes with an "as new" B&H 926 m'piece. This is a significant upgrade, as usually this m'piece was supplied with the professional model Imperial 926 clarinet.
The A has matching serial nos. 142597. As with the Bb the wood condition is excellent, and all fish skin pads are also in very good shape. The nickel silver plating is also in very fine condition. The double case is a Selmer in good used condition. If desired the pair can be split as follows: A in double case for £375, and Bb in a single Selmer case with 926 m'piece for £295.
