Selmer, Recital, E Flat Clarinet
This is a fine condition Selmer Recital Eb Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The sole owner of this clarinet is the eminent British player, Joy Farrall, and this instrument has been used professionally in many of the UK's finest orchestras. Selmer Paris Eb clarinets are considered the finest professional instruments available worldwide, due to their superb intonation and ergonomics, and the Recital is the most up to date model in their production lineage. This instrument is of exceptional quality, with excellent tuning and response. The wood condition overall is very good: There are no cracks or repairs. This Eb has lightly used fish skin pads which will be good for many months to come, the keywork regulation is excellent, as is the condition of all corks. Most of the silver plated keywork is in good condition with no wear, though there is a natural patina due to the age of the instrument. The serial nos. are D2084 which dates to 1985. There are two original barrels of 45mm and 47mm. The case is the original in good condition, with still wrapped keys. The m'piece is a J&D Hite in good condition.
