Selmer Bundy, Mazzeo, B Flat Clarinet
This is an excellent condition Selmer Bundy "Mazzeo" system Bb clarinet. For those unfamiliar with the this, the mechanism facilitates the production of a good throat Bb by using additional key work to open the third trill key in conjunction with throat A. Thus an excellent throat Bb can be produced by touching any of the rings from LH 2 down, with the throat A key. This is a student model in Resonite, with no cracks or damage. All the nickel plate key work is in fine order. The instrument has just had a partial overhaul with pads and corks replaced as necessary. This clarinet would suit a beginner, or a more advanced player, wanting to take advantage of the superior Bb which the Mazzeo modification makes easy. All pieces are matching and original. The serial number is 732005. The case is in good used condition and very compact.
