Kohlert were a famous family of woodwind instrument makers active in Graslitz from 1880 onwards. In 1945, as a direct result of WW II, they relocated to Winnenden.
Therefore this fine German made clarinet can be dated to post 1945. All pieces, in Grenadilla wood, are matching and original. The serial nos. are 52380. The nickel silver keywork is in excellent condition. The fish skin pads, whilst used, are also in excellent condition, sealing well. The case is a modern example in very good condituon.
