King, Bass Clarinet
This is an excellent condition King Bass Clarinet in Resonite to low Eb, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The King is actually a Selmer Bundy Bass with a different logo stamp. There are no cracks or damage to the body; minor surface scratches and marks only. The crook is in excellent condition, as is the bell. There is floor peg attachment to the bell. The Nickel Silver key work is in good condition with the plating cover at around 98%, most of the slight loss is to the finger touch pieces. This Bass has recently had an overhaul with Dawkes, and has had little use since, the current owner having recently purchased a Selmer Paris Bass. All tan leather pads are in "as new" condition, with most of the lower pads having reflectors. The invoice totalling £183.50 is included in the sale, as is the original Invoice for this Bass, at over 1240 Euros. As import VAT and customs duty are levied on all European imports in fact the true cost for this Bass is over £1200. The serial nos. are 53724. The case is an excellent condition Protech with carry strap. The m'piece is a brand new USA student model, and again the invoice for this is present. This is a fine example of the proven Selmer design. It plays easily and is an ideal first Bass clarinet purchase. In addition it is superb value for money.
