A Selmer Mk VI Alto saxophone, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, and has had only one owner from new, John Sands. The Alto is an iconic example of the famous Mark VI, which many feel has not been equalled since by Selmer. The original lacquer shows natural wear commemorate with age and usage. It is important to remember that this fine example has been much used and played, as befits a superb playing Mark VI. The keywork, rods and screws are also in good condition. The serial numbers are 75488, which dates to 1958. The m'piece is a well used Link No.4. The supplied case is a Custom Yamaha in very good used condition, with keys.
