This is a fine condition early YAS 62, serial number 040175. The instrument was purchased new by the late Alan Ryder and is one of a large collection of single reed instruments we will be selling on his widow's behalf. The YAS 62 was a professional Alto Sax which many players feel was modeled on the legendary Selmer Mark 6. It has been very carefully used and is very good condition, with only the usual lacquer wear and one small ding to the crook. The pads are all tan leather, which are either brand new or in excellent used condition. The instrument has been through our workshop with a minor service prior to sale. The supplied m'piece is a Selmer C*. The Hiscox case is in good condition and a sling & other accessories are provided.
