Selmer, Paris, 10S A Clarinet
A Selmer, Paris, 10S A clarinet, in excellent condition. The Selmer 10 series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner: Indeed with a bore of only 14.60mm, the 10S is even smaller in the bore than the Buffet R13. The clarinet is extremely lively, easy to play, and has excellent intonation.
This A, with matching S/N A7130 dates to 1980 and has Nickel Silver plate in pristine condition, with no discernible wear. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is, again, in excellent condition. All pieces are original and have matching stamps. The clarinet has just had a complete overhaul in double bladder fish skin pads at our workshop, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The barrels are of 64.5mm & 65.0mm. The case is a doubler, which is in very good condition, and is supplied with keys. This A would pair well with the 10S Bb, S/N A2118, which is currently on our website for £1250.
