This vintage Selmer "Cigar Cutter" Alto is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct having been last owned by a London based professional. The instrument has used tan leather pads throughout, all are sealing well, and the sax is in good regulation. This vintage instrument with silver plate finish shows wear throughout, commensurate with much use, there is also wear to the mother of pearl touchpieces, particularly LH 2 and RH3. There are no major dents or any evidence of solder repairs. It plays responsively across the entire range. The serial number is 17008 which dates to 1932. The supplied case is a maroon leather example in excellent used condition [NB, not pictured].
