Buffet, RC, E Flat Clarinet
This is an excellent condition Buffet RC Eb, which was selected new in the 2000's, by the original owner who is a leading professional player based in Manchester. He has had the instrument fully re-padded in super pads, and also had the original thumb rest moved higher, with the original screw holes left unfilled, enabling the new owner to restore the thumb rest to its original position. He also purchased a 43.2mm Buffet Prestige D barrel to use on the Eb as he found that this, slightly larger bore barrel, improved the 12ths and also the tone, making the instrument warmer. This Eb is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct.
The clarinet has no cracks or damage to the wood. The silver plate is in very good condition with no wear. The super pads are sealing well and should be good for many years to come. The serial numbers are 525654 & the original barrel measures 40.5mm. A very good condition Vandoren B44 m'piece is supplied, and the original case is in fine condition.
