Noblet, Artist, C Clarinet
This is a Noblet Artist C Clarinet, made by Leblanc, in very good condition. This instrument is the professional Artist model 50 Noblet clarinet, with all parts made of finest unstained Grenadilla wood, unlike some of the cheaper models in the Noblet range. This clarinet has had only one owner from new, Ian Mitchell, one of the UK's leading clarinetists, and founding member and director of Gemini. The matching serial nos. are A90722, the wood has no cracks or repairs, there are only some slight surface marks. The Nickel Silver plate is in good condition, with only slight wear to the ring finger touchpieces. The instrument has just had a complete overhaul in our workshop in finest Pisoni fish skin pads, and is sold with our 1 year warranty. The bore, in common with all other Leblanc made C clarinets, is 14.50mm. The instrument tunes well with the supplied Vandoren B45 spot, but will play well with any modern French bore mouthpiece, exactly as used on a Bb clarinet. The case is in good used condition. In summation this is a fine tuning C, an entry level professional model, which would match well with the finest French instruments currently available.
