Pair of Leblanc, LL, Clarinets
These are a very fine condition matched pair of Leblanc LL clarinets, which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Leblanc LL, was named after Leon Leblanc, George's son. The design features an exceptionally even scale and intonation, and, though introduced in the 1960s, was so successful that the model continued in manufacture right up until when the firm was sold to Buffet in 2009.
The Bb clarinet has matching serial nos. 41688, The Nickel Silver plate is in very good condition, with no wear. The wood is also pristine, with no cracks or repairs. The instrument has good condition Pisoni Tan leather pads throughout. The A clarinet has matching serial nos. 41237, The Nickel Silver plate is in again in excellent condition, with no wear. The wood is also very fine, with no cracks or repairs. Like the Bb the instrument has Pisoni Tan leather pads, and all are in fine condition. The supplied m'piece is the original Leblanc, in fair used condition, and the double case is brand new.
