Selmer, Paris, 10S A Clarinet
A Selmer 10S A clarinet, in excellent condition. The Selmer 10 series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner: Indeed with a bore of only 14.60mm, the 10S is even smaller in the bore than the Buffet R13. The clarinet is extremely lively, easy to play, and has excellent intonation.
This A, with matching S/N B4596, dates to 1982 and has Nickel Silver plate in pristine condition, with no discernible wear. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is, again, in excellent condition. All pieces are original and have bright matching stamps. The clarinet has just had a complete overhaul in double bladder fish skin pads at our workshop, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The barrel is of 64.5mm. The double case is a Yamaha Custom, which is in excellent condition, and comes with a case cover with pouches and carry straps. This instrument would pair well with any other major manufacturers' top of the range professional Bb, and is excellent value for money.
