Matched Pair of Leblanc LX Clarinets
These are a good condition matched pair of Leblanc LX clarinets, which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. Their last owner was a Polish professional. These clarinets features a poly-cylindrical bore design of 14.60mm and respond and tune excellently, they were offered as an alternative to the Buffet R13, or Selmer 10S. The model was Leblanc's flagship design of the 1980s & was so successful that it continued in production right up until 2009 when the French factory was sold to Buffet Crampon.
The Bb, with matching S/N 59099, has used fish skin pads, which are sealing well. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; which is unstained and superb throughout. The Silver plated key work is in good condition, with some slight wear, mainly to the RH rings and lower "pinky" keys. The clarinet comes with all the original stamped pieces.
The A, with matching S/N 58316, has used tan leather pads, which are in overall fine condition. As usual the A has seen less use than the Bb, and the condition is excellent. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; which is unstained and superb throughout. The Silver plated key work is in very good condition, with no wear. The clarinet comes with all the original stamped pieces as well as with 2 original barrels.
The supplied BAM double case is in good used condition. This pair would suit a player on a budget, as for less than the cost of student models, a player could purchase a top quality French professional pair.
