Eaton, Elite, B Flat Clarinet
This Peter Eaton Elite Bb is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. It was formerly owned by a UK based professional who has taken excellent care of it. The Elite is Peter Eaton's best regarded model and is based on the Boosey & Hawkes 1010, though it differs acoustically, in that it features a reverse taper in the upper joint for improved tuning, along with careful undercutting. The instrument has wood in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. This Bb has matching serial nos. E186, and has used tan leather pads throughout, which are sealing well. The Silver plating is in good condition with no wear. The mouthpiece is an Eaton stamped " 1.22 21 A " in very fine condition There are 2 supplied barrels of 63mm and 64mm. The BAM case is used, but again in very good condition.
