Noblet, by Leblanc, Model 45, C Clarinet
This is a Noblet Artist 45 C Clarinet, made by Leblanc, in superb condition. This instrument is the professional Artist model 45 Noblet clarinet, with all parts made of finest unstained Grenadilla wood, unlike some of the cheaper models in the Noblet range. The matching serial nos. are B 96599 making this example a very late production model, dating to the late 2000s. The Nickel Silver plate is in very good condition, with only a minute part of wear to the G# throat key and RH "pinky" keys E/B and F#/C#, please see the close up photos 10 & 11. The Grenadilla wood is in pristine condition throughout with no cracks or damage. The instrument has lightly used fish skin pads, which are sealing well. The bore, in common with all other Leblanc made C clarinets, is 14.50mm. The instrument tunes well with any modern standard French bore m'piece. This means most players can play their regular Bb m'piece successfully. The case is the original in very good condition, and comes with the keys. In summation; this is a fine tuning C, an entry level professional model, which would match well with the finest French instruments currently available.
