Noblet, Artist, Plateau B Flat Clarinet
A pristine condition Noblet Artist, by Leblanc, Paris France, Plateau B flat clarinet. This is a model 45 Noblet, which is a professional level clarinet, with a covered hole mechanism, i.e. plateau. Noblet was founded in 1750, which made them the oldest clarinet manufacturer in the world. All the key work, which is in Nickel Silver plate, is in perfect condition, with no wear. The grenadilla wood throughout is in fine condition, with no cracks or repairs: Unlike the cheaper models in this range this clarinet is made entirely from Grenadilla. All parts are matching and original. The clarinet has just been fully overhauled in Pisoni Premium De-luxe fish skin pads, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The wood has been oiled, and all touch and tenon corks replaced. The matching serial nos. are 58177. The case is a brand new Buffet pouchette example, & the mouthpiece is a used Vandoren B45. This clarinet continued to be manufactured by Leblanc right up until they ceased manufacture in 2009. It was described by them as "specifically designed for the younger player, doubler or even the arthritic player who may have difficulty covering the standard open-tone-hole". It is extremely hard to find a used example of this sought after model in such exemplary condition.
